Criss Cross pig tails

Hi everyone
Haven't posted in a little while due to work and just general home life.

Anyway:) I had saw this hairstyle going around for the last week or so and I thought I would try it out.

I actually really like how it looked and Darcie loved it! I thought maybe it wouldn't work with her hair being short than the pictures I've saw, but it just about worked:)

What you need.

14 small elastics
Sectioning comb
Water spray
2 hair bows
Hair clips

1. Start by parting the hair down the middle as if you are doing normal pig tails.

2. Tie one section up and then wet the other side, this style works so much better when the hair is wet.

3. This is the hardest part! Part the one section into 4 sections and tie each with an elastic.

4. Let loose the other side and do the same. You should end up with the hair looking like the picture on the bottom right.

Now I know you're all thinking that doesn't seem hard, I know, I thought the same, but trying to section the hair so it looks even is quite difficult when you have a moving toddler! Haha.

5. Start with the two bottom strands. Add the hair to opposite elastic diagonally up the head. When you add the hair just tie together with another elastic.

6. When you reach the last elastic on either side, but the hair into a little bun, however you like, you could also leave the hair loose.

7. Add two bows either side at the front, try to hide the elastics on the top:)

And there you have it!

I absolutely loved the way this style looked, a little heads up though, I did loosen some of the elastics afterwards as too me they looked to tight for her, darcie never moaned they were tight nor while I was doing the style!

Hope you liked this style:) let me know if there's any other styles going round and I can try to recreate them.
